About the website

Slitherlink is a logic puzzle originally developed by Nikoli.
Brief and clear description of this game is given on the Wikipedia. You can also find there some solution method for square grids, but some of them may be easily generalize to the other grid shapes.

This web page is Copyright 2011 Grzegorz Orzechowski.
Slitherlink solver, grid generators and functions that check game completition and selects nearest line on click, as well as some helper functions, are based on the code included in the Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection, and they are copyright 2004-2010 Simon Tatham. Portions copyright Richard Boulton, James Harvey, Mike Pinna, Jonas Kölker, Dariusz Olszewski, Michael Schierl, Lambros Lambrou and Bernd Schmidt (see license).
The solver and grid generators were entirely rewritten to Python, while check completition and selection of the nearest line functions were rewritten to JavaScript.
